Before You Start

Please read and agree to these terms before creating or registering content on TIP Protocol.

📋 Key Terms

  • →Your private key is stored encrypted on this device only. The AI Lab never sees it.
  • →Content registrations are permanent public records on the TIP DAG. They cannot be deleted.
  • →Origin declarations (OH/AA/AG/MX) are binding. False declarations reduce your trust score.
  • →Biometric data is processed only by your device's secure enclave. It never leaves your device.

🔒 Privacy

We publish: content hashes, TIP-IDs, and signatures on a public DAG. We never collect your name, email, biometrics, or content text. Full privacy policy →

Key backup is your responsibility. If you lose your device without a backup, your key cannot be recovered. You will be guided through saving a recovery phrase during setup.

TIP Protocol stores only cryptographic hashes, public keys, and content signatures on the network. Your name, photo, biometrics, government ID, and personal information never touch the DAG. They are used once during verification, matched locally, and discarded. What remains on the network is a mathematical proof that you were verified, not who you are.

🔒 How your key is protected
  • Scanning the QR code only fills the form fields above. Nothing is stored at this step.
  • When you tap Continue, your key is held in temporary session memory only. It is erased when you close this tab.
  • In the next step, your key is encrypted using Face ID, fingerprint, or a password (AES-256-GCM with 200,000 PBKDF2 rounds).
  • Only the encrypted version is saved on your device. The raw key is deleted from memory immediately after encryption.
  • The AI Lab never sees, transmits, or stores your private key. You are the sole owner.
